Intro to Adventure Riding
For students who have a “big bike” but are not comfortable taking it off road (yet). Adventure bikes or dual-sport bikes welcome.
The objectives of this class is for each student to learn the fundamentals of throttle control & clutch finesse to keep their heavy bike "in balance". Additional skills include: shifting while standing, negotiating tight turns with counter balancing, and mastering off-camber terrain all off tarmac. Ages 16 + welcome
Student provides her/his own bike.

This registration includes a full day of instruction. Must be an AMA member. We can sign you up on-site ($49/yr), or you can do a one-day membership ($20). Wear long pants, long sleeve shirt and over the ankle boots. Rugged road gear is not necessary as you'll be in grass most of the day. Dirt bike pads available to borrow as well. Bring your own bike and helmet.
